Virtual Reality Anatomy
This project with detailed models can facilitate and accelerate the learning of anatomy and medicine in a fully interactive environment with maximum immersion. Currently, 15 body systems with more than 4,000 models are available to colleagues along with the information of each organ and its correct pronunciation. It is possible to record the teacher’s voice to produce content.
In next versions, in addition to structure, the behavior of body organs will be simulated.
How to use: the users put the virtual reality headset in their head and then with the interactive handles that play the role of hand can be move in the virtual room around the selected anatomy and select the organs and pull them out from the body to more check.
By selecting each one, the scientific and clinical description will appear in the virtual window on the left side. Other facilities such as annotation and listening to information in English are provided. Using this product requires the provision of a suitable graphics computer and virtual reality headset commensurate with 6 degrees of freedom. Contact us for information and establishing a dedicated laboratory.
Virtual Training of Knee Surgery
This project is designed to get acquainted with the process, surgical equipment and knee replacement with a robot.
6 degrees of complete freedom with high knee details and audio guide are among the features of this simulator. Its educational and professional aspect can be a helpful model for development of similar systems.
Virtual Training of Postoperative Procedures (Sutures)
This project aims are learning postoperative procedures, caring for the wound by disinfecting it and performing secondary care. Its simple but practical user interface with two levels of training and testing is one of the properties of this product. 6 degrees of freedom and interactive environment with the latest interactive technologies provide an attractive environment for the users. The use of basic operating room tools, high sensitivity and accuracy of the flexible models created a requirement for a high degree of focus.
۳D Virtual Reality Radiology
This product allows 3D and spatial reconstruction of 3D images for MRI modality. The possibility of patrolling different slides and painting the 3D models produced from these slides can have several diagnostic applications in addition to educational use. As a user, you can upload your DICOM images and then review and navigate them. Watch the related videos for more information.
۳D Virtual Reality Model of the Corpse
In addition to common anatomical information as well as the possibility of monitoring radiographic images, this product provides a real model of the anatomy of a corpse for better learning and a deeper sense of immersion. One of the advantages of this product is puncturing the organs of the body and providing information about different parts of the body. Furthermore, it is possible to import a variety of 3D models into the closed virtual reality environment, which can include animal models, objects, and any other medical or non-medical images. It is also possible to record content.
***Virtual Reality Game for Patients with Head and Neck Disorders
This product, which has been performed as a master thesis, uses the least expensive virtual reality tools to properly perform rehabilitation exercises in patients with head and neck disorders. The product is installed in the form of a game on the patients’ phone and they can have an experience with 3 degrees of freedom from virtual reality by using virtual reality headsets based on smartphones that are priced between 150 to 500 thousand Toman.
The patient has to do the exercises correctly to hit the target, which requires a lot of concentration and practice. It should be noted that, this headset can be used for other entertainment and virtual reality gadgets on smartphones. In addition to the software part, our researchers succeeded in producing a cheap and effective electronic module with the aim of transferring motion angles to the virtual reality environment. This module is patented and can be presented and sold to esteemed colleagues.

*** Pain Management Shooting Game Collection
This product which has been performed as a bachelor thesis uses the least expensive virtual reality tools to focus on pain in painful physiotherapy treatments. An attractive collection designed by health information student Mr. Amir Soleimani, which includes virus shooting, cannon throwing, and hiking with 3 degrees of freedom. The supervisor of this project is Dr. Taha Samad Soltani.

*** Avatar Therapy for Patients with Schizophrenic Paranoia
This product, which has been performed as a master thesis, uses the least expensive virtual reality tools. The aim of this study is exposure therapy. According to published evidence, therapeutic exposure of schizophrenic patients in virtual environments can improve their mental state. The selected environment inside the Nesita bus is a crowded city where the patient is sitting in a chair facing the citizens. Two environments were designed to be used in different treatment sessions. In the first environment, a real 360-degree image was used, and in the second environment, which is completely virtual and the citizen plays the role of avatar in front of the patient, and the therapist talks to the patient in the form of that avatar. Dr. Taha Samad Soltani and Dr. Sara Farhang are supervisors of this research, which was performed by Ms. Elham Manqesh.

*** Bronchoscopy Simulator
This product is being performed as a PhD dissertation. Approximately, 70% project is completed and an electromechanical system has been designed. The final version of this valuable system will be published soon. This research is performed by Mr. Mahmoud Bejani under supervision of Dr. Peyman Rezaei and Dr. Ali Taghizadieh.
